Company Overview
Ottogi New Zealand Ltd was established by our parent company the Ottogi Corporation of Korea. The Ottogi Corporation is over 50 years old and has a turnover of more than one billion US dollars globally. Ottogi is a reputable name to all Koreans with a range of more than 500 products. Ottogi operates in several other countries throughout the world.
Our operation in NZ was established in 1997 at our current Auckland (Takanini) facility. Utilising New Zealand’s clean, pure, and natural resources, we manufacture products that are unparalleled in quality and flavour. Ottogi specialise in the manufacturing of delicious sauces and dressings, as well as producing beef goods made from beef extract and beef bone extract at our Takanini plant.
The plant also houses our on-site laboratory with the latest technology allowing us to ensure quality in all our products while catering to our customer’s needs. We have full NZFSA approval and are a licensed international exporter with export goods going to Korea, Australia, and America. Coming from Korea, it probably comes as no surprise that my passion for Korean cuisine has led me to where I am now. I may be a little biased, but we’re confident that by mixing traditional flavours and high-quality ingredients, people will come to love Ottogi as much as we do.
We have overcome many challenges over the years. Since 1997, we can proudly say our achievements in food manufacturing & sustainability have helped improve the well-being of many people. Going forward, we’re continually focused on developing products that put the health of the people and the environment first. We are committed to making a positive contribution to New Zealand.
