A day in our lives looks like the Quality Control Officer busy testing the microbiological safety of products made the previous day. The results of tests completed a few days prior are now ready to inspect and their results are entered for our records.

In the rare instance the tests return unsatisfactory results, we back-track and ensure all relevant stock are not released. For ingredients, suppliers are informed of the results and all product is placed On-Hold until a cause is identified.

Quality Assurance inspects the general condition of the production area and informs relevant staff of any issues that require action. They are responsible for ensuring our team follow the correct procedures according to the Risk Management Programme (RMP).

Finally, our Research and Development team will likely be found in our laboratory, creating new recipes, tasting and modifying to achieve the flavour profile described by our clients. Whether this includes a few burgers or fries to ‘test’ how well a sauce pairs is just part of the job!
